Manga Panels That Hit Different
Panels, two-page spreads, and page turns that hit you like a sledgehammer.
An unexpected move, or even a change of expression on one of the characters, can be all that's needed to alter a scene completely. It can actually be any event that doesn't need any characters commenting it for the viewer to realise an important twist is happening. (tvtropes)
All genres accepted.
Assume the comments are full of spoilers.
Closed while I set up some example posts.

Poems
A goal of this community is to create a clear text library of copy & paste-able poems.
It is to make it easier to add more poetry and poets and their publications visible to our digital world. So please format it accordingly.
title could be even if it is duplicated by your username:
TITLE OF POEM by AUTHOR OF POEM
body of post could have:
TITLE OF POEM IN ITALIC
BODY OF POEM formatted as poet wanted it or its closest facsimile
that is why i haven't taken on ee cumming yet because i want to use only markdown
List any translators please put as a first comment.
Formatting help: two blank spaces at the end of a line will force a new line;
most certainly learning the Unicode markdown labels for spacing

and how to use the & and ; sigils to activate them for your or someone else's poetry spacing.
if a poem's language settings make it at all difficult to mod i'm deleting it.

Autumn
All about autumn.
Civility is aggressively enforced: do not be rude, troll-y, flame-bait-y, etc. If someone else is, please report, block as necessary, and move on.
Comments that cannot reasonably lead to discussion or which have no analysis (“first!”, “lol”, [string of emojis]) will be deleted. Please do not post them.

Lemmy reports more active users than there really are, so “active this month” on Lemmy forums is an upper estimate. More
