Gift of Gaming
A Lemmy community dedicated to host video game giveaways.
Rules:
- The only posts allowed on this community are giveaways, no making posts begging for games.
- It is highly encouraged that you don't post any game keys themselves, bots are easily able to claim them instantly.
- Remember to mark your giveaway as complete when you have finished it. You can do so by adding "(COMPLETE)" to the beginning of the title of your post.
- Make sure you're kind to your fellow users. Users must follow Lemmy World's code of conduct: https://mastodon.world/about
Safety Advice:
- Do not click on any links you receive in your DMs. Giveaway operators should only be gifting games in the form of product keys sent directly to the winner's DMs.

C Programming Language
Welcome to the C community!
C is quirky, flawed, and an enormous success.
... When I read commentary about suggestions for where C should go, I often think back and give thanks that it wasn't developed under the advice of a worldwide crowd.
... The only way to learn a new programming language is by writing programs in it.- irc: #c

::: spoiler English A community for left-wing, anti-fascist, anti-queerphobic, and similar music.
Rules:
-
Music must be appropriate for the community
-
This community is primarily for recommendations, so please refrain from posting articles
-
Political criticism of songs, comments, etc. is allowed, but no promotion of right-wing or inhuman ideas.
-
Playlists are welcome, but please include [Playlist] in the title.
-
Musicians with controversial viewpoints and/or backgrounds are tolerated, not respected. This means that their songs are held to a higher standard, and there is a greater likelihood that their content will be removed—even if it only implicitly contains material that is unacceptable to this community. These musicians include all anti-Germans.
If possible, use odesli.co or similar, otherwise please only use providers that allow guest listening. :::

Sailing
General
Welcome! This is a place to discuss sailing, all sailing related questions and share sailing images.
Please post freely about sailing and comment generously. User adoption and use is the boon which will inspire more users to join!
Known Issues
Posts created in portrait mode automatically rotate to landscape mode. This is something across Lemmy that seems to be known. To address, the image must have the correct metadata, not just rotated in your camera roll before uploading.

Trashy Zone
You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound, but of mind. A terrifying journey into the depths of human depravity. Next stop, the Trashy Zone.
Following these rules will increase your odds of making it out of the trashy zone alive.
-
Be nice. Rude, aggressive and antagonistic commentors will be made leave.
-
I don't want a classist definition of trashy being this subs main interpretation of trashyness. Posts depicting decadent displays of wealth are encouraged
-
The five patron saints of the trashy zone are Charlie, Mac, Dennis, Dee and Frank from IASIP. Please pay homage to them whenever possible.
-
No overly dark topics like sa or child abuse. I want a light tone to this place. What consistutes too dark is currently up to moderator discretion.
-
Once this server hits 5k subs a community discussion post will be created. Ideas to build this community will be shared and discussed.

Lemmy reports more active users than there really are, so “active this month” on Lemmy forums is an upper estimate. More
