Progressive_Islam
(Formerly Lemm.ee)
Description
A place for Progressive Muslims of all sects and schools of thought. We seek to foster an atmosphere of understanding, tolerance, and peace between all peoples.
Community Rules
- Be respectful of one another
Please treat others with respect. Being respectful means :
-
listening, even if strongly disagree;
-
being thoughtful of other people's feelings;
-
assuming that things are said in good faith (unless otherwise indicated);
-
addressing mistakes, errors, or shortcomings with kindness;
-
make decisions based upon what is right, not who or what you like;
-
live and let live (i.e., don't condemn people to death or suffering because they have chosen a different lifestyle).
- We do not promote ultra conservative ideas
Although Discussion around mainstream conservative Islamic theology is allowed in this community, we do not allow promotion of such conservative ideas. Therefore, posts & comments that promote such ultra-conservative ideas & websites will be removed.
- All contributions should be made in good faith
Contributing in good faith means being open to considering the arguments made by the other side, either in whole or in part. Rather than rejecting the entire progressive/conservative argument, what parts of the argument can you agree upon? Posts simply aiming to antagonize, preach, or pronounce takfir over an individual or group would are obvious examples of bad faith contributions.
- Don't proselytize
Submissions seeking to proselytize other religions or no religion, or promoting one sect or denomination over others will be removed. Posts/Comments linking to non-lslamic or Salafist sources may be removed where such links might serve to legitimize kufr, Salafist, or extremist modes of thinking.

Monsterverse
Toho’s Godzilla Monsterverse — one of the oldest screen franchises — has a fediverse home on Lemmy!
Are you a Monsterverse fan? Or, perhaps just Monsterverse curious?
Whatever your degree of love for or interest in kaiju and all things Monsterverse, this community is intended to be a welcoming place in the fediverse for you.
Join us to share news, art or discuss the new television franchise on AppleTV with Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and the spinoff Coldwar spy thriller prequel going into production this spring.
Or, share news, your thoughts and creations for the more than 70 years of the movie franchise that started with Godzilla (1954).
Please respect the community rules of the StarTrek.website instance, and leave the drama for the Titans.

FuckZionism
In this community, I want to collect all the evidence of atrocities and horrors the zionists committed in the last 100 years. I would like it to serve it as a reminder for how we got here, so nobody can’t ignore the evil this entity did to our world.
Zionism in any form (including blatant hasbara rhetoric and liberal zionism) would be immediately banned.
I also reserve the right to ban anyone for any reason.
