Sideloader Society
This is a space for discussion about digital sharing. Ethics, culture, and legal evolution around copying and access. We explore everything from file duplication and digital rights to the philosophy behind it.
This community aligns with the values of Kopimism: that sharing information is sacred, and the act of copying is a form of respect, not theft.
We don’t post links to pirated material because this isn’t a drop site. But we do believe copying is fundamental to human progress, and that talking openly about it matters.
Rules
1. stay on-topic
All posts must relate to digital sharing, privacy, access rights, or adjacent tech culture. No off-topic clutter.
2. no begging, trading, or promos
No invite hunting, no selling, no plugging your own projects. Keep the signal clean.
3. no direct piracy links
Don’t request or share links to specific pirated content — public or private. That includes hinting or DM offers.
4. quality matters
Avoid spammy posts, lazy takes, or trolling. Engage respectfully and don’t act entitled.

Kneipe OLGA

Tämä on hacklabin Mobilizon-tunnus, jolla jaetaan joitakin tapahtumia. Kannattaa seurata myös labin Mastodon-tunnusta @tampere@some.hacklab.fi . Tampere Hacklab is a community-based workshop in Finland that anyone can join as a member. Hacklab provides workspaces and tools for all kinds of building, repairing, and restoring things. Mobilizon contributors
This group organizes events (public and private) for those who contribute to the development of software Mobilizon (https://mobilizon.org). But good places where to start are the forum https://framacolibri.org/c/mobilizon/39 and the git https://framagit.org/kaihuri/mobilizon. Credit to https://www.davidrevoy.com/ for the illustrations

Did someone delete your post or your comment? Was that bullshit? Make a post here, tag the people you were talking to if any, and continue.
You can also pre-emptively make a post here, if there is some community whose rules prohibit the thing you would like to say to someone, but you'd still like to be able to say it. This does not include personal insults or anything of that nature, only forbidden viewpoints or similar weird rules.
Community rules:
- Having wrong viewpoints is fine
- No flagrant cockery
- Nothing illegal
Definitions are in my sole discretion. I'm pretty tolerant. That said, this isn't a "free speech zone," if you are posting racism or death threats, expect to get banned from here just as you would from most places.

Lemmy reports more active users than there really are, so “active this month” on Lemmy forums is an upper estimate. More
