Sculpture's Expanded Field: Installation, Performance Art and More...
Welcome to c/Sculpture, a community for artists and art lovers alike. We hope to create a supportive space for humans passionate about art, artists, and its creation. Computer-Rendered-Artificial-Pictures (A.I.) are not welcome.
Rules
-
This is an English-language community. Comments should be in English. Posts can link to non-English news sources when providing a full-text translation in the post description. Automated translations are fine, as long as they don’t overly distort the content.
-
Credit must be given to the artist. Give the title of the artwork and year if possible.
-
No links to misinformation, commercial advertising, or A.I. Generated content.
-
Be kind to each other, and argue in good faith. Don’t post direct insults nor disrespectful and condescending comments. Don’t troll nor incite hatred.
-
No bigotry, sexism, racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, dehumanization of minorities, et cetera. Strive to post insightful comments. Add “/s” when you’re being sarcastic (and don’t use it to break rule no. 4).
-
Don’t evade bans. If we notice ban evasion, that will result in a permanent ban for all the accounts we can associate with you.
(This list may get expanded as necessary.)

Art
This is a community for art in any medium. Welcome!
Rules:
- This is a community to discuss all things related to art. Posts should be relevant to art, such as sharing art or news about art. To clarify, when we say "any medium," this includes media such as painting, film, music, literature, performance, video games, etc.
- Keep things civil. Critiquing art is fine but attacking other users for their opinions is not.
- Avoid excessive self-promotion. Yes, this is subjective and will be based on how popular this community becomes overall. If you can see a post about your own work on the first few pages, don't post another.

FuckZionism
In this community, I want to collect all the evidence of atrocities and horrors the zionists committed in the last 100 years. I would like it to serve it as a reminder for how we got here, so nobody can’t ignore the evil this entity did to our world.
Zionism in any form (including blatant hasbara rhetoric and liberal zionism) would be immediately banned.
I also reserve the right to ban anyone for any reason.

Lemmy reports more active users than there really are, so “active this month” on Lemmy forums is an upper estimate. More
